Hello friends and family of Marybeth! You are already TEAM MB and we are thankful for you!

We are excited to join the fight against Ovarian Cancer in a new way this July with this 5k walk/run that directly benefits the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. OCRA is is the world’s largest organization dedicated to fighting ovarian and all gynecologic cancers on all fronts while supporting patients and their families. Fun fact, Marybeth and her sister were even featured on their website and social media a few years ago! (#famous) ;) 

As many of you know, Marybeth was first diagnosed in January 2020. After 5 and half years in remission, the nasty C-word came back this March. As you also know, Marybeth is a fighter in the fiercest way, and she is attacking it again with her classic MB determination and spunk! She is currently in treatment and we are hoping that she will be back in remission this fall. In the meantime, she is working hard to be rid of this, while also enjoying lots of baseball, her fabulous friends and family, and her new puppy, Hank!

In addition, our team will walk in honor of Marybeth’s 2 dear friends and “soul sisters” who recently passed after long battles with ovarian cancer. Kerry and Jill were both incredible women who brought so much love and light to their families and communities, and we want to recognize their lives and their courageous fights.
